Washington, DC
There are few issues that unite conservatives more than filling judicial vacancies, especially Supreme Court vacancies, with highly qualified judges who have a demonstrated record of honoring the Constitution, fairly applying the law and not using the bench to legislate or impose a political agenda.
Senate Republicans must confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
This circus has gone on long enough. Judge Kavanaugh has gone far above and beyond what is normally required of a Supreme Court nominee. He has filled out a 17,000-page questionnaire, he has endured over 30 hours of public and private hearings, he has met with 65 Senators, he has answered 1,200 follow-up questions; additionally, he has gone through six background checks covering 25 years of public service without even a hint of impropriety.
Well over 200 women who have known him throughout his entire life have vouched for his character and integrity in public and private. Women who dated him and went to school with him, as well as women who worked with him and for him in their professional capacities.
Chairman Grassley and the Judiciary Committee went to extreme lengths to present all available information. Today the accuser made her presentation. Witnesses she had pledged would support her claims, instead, refuted them.
Thus, at the end of the hearing there was no corroboration for any of the charges against Judge Kavanaugh.
The United States Senate now has the responsibility to act. Confirm this nominee immediately!
