I mean no disrespect to my Mormon friends, but I don’t think it will surprise any of you that we don’t think you’re orthodox, since you certainly don’t think we are. It probably won’t surprise you either that some of those we do consider orthodox have serious issues with Mitt Romney, either because he’s not within the bounds of orthodoxy or, more likely, because he said and did a lot of things in Massachusetts that are at odds with his current positions and, frankly, we just don’t trust him.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t vote for him. Oh my gosh: we ALL better vote for him! Dan Phillips does a fantastic job of addressing all the reasons why, and better still, answering the objections, from “lesser of two evils” to “let’s just start a third party”. This is a gem, and a must read.
