There are very few people in this world whom I have known as long or loved as much as Pam Coleman.
Pam hasn’t been the healthiest girl in the world for a long time now. But she’s as flawless today, in the arms of her Savior, as anyone was ever created to be. We can rejoice in her reward, as we also pray — and I ask you all to pray — for her sweet daughter Bethany, her dear sister Angela, and her whole family.
We are born into this fallen life dying. Our hope and our redemption is in Heaven. It is tragic, from our limited perspective, when we lose someone so young. But it’s also a reminder that Christ numbers our days, and works all things together for the good of those who love Him, even when we do not understand that plan which He authored before the foundation of the world.
We understand very little. We are here only very briefly. But this is our beginning, not our end. And we must walk by faith and not by sight.
Pam did. And I will see her again soon. Just not yet.
