Joe Biden deliberately stranded two heroic astronauts in space for nine months, out of spite for Elon Musk and a reflexive protection of the legacy Space-Industrial Comples. It was indicative of government’s decades-long corrupt approach to space.

For 50-years, top-down government (Socialism) and visionless aerospace companies suppressed entrepreneurship used cost-plus contracts to feather their nest and steal our future. Reuseability was laughed at, even after Elon Musk invented it (and spent a tiny fraction of NASA’s one-year budget to do so).

After all, why cut the cost of spaceflight by orders of magnitude when you can charge $4.5 billion per launch for a fully expendable SLS?

Now, we’re on the brink of a million people living and working in space, by 2045. It’s a marvel, and we get into it — how we lost a half-century, how we got to this extraordinary point, and how we’ll build the future.
