For those who doggedly insist that electronic voting machines “can’t be hacked”, Tennessee is about to prove them wrong. Twelve smartcards have already gone “missing”, Drudge reports; each could be used to stuff electronic ballot boxes virtually without limit.

While certainly not perfect, paper ballots are the only way to have an honest election, period. The NFRA works tirelessly for honest elections, and this is one of the most basic, most essential prerequisites. There’s simply no room for compromise.
